Finally, after 50 godforsaken years, Thaipusam is declared as a public holiday in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. Aiyoo Pak Lah, sudah guilty ahh, sudah takut ahh? What an election gimmick. So bloody obvious! Our beloved Uncle Samy said:
‘The opposition should be ashamed of themselves for stooping so low as to use places of worship for their political campaign”
Eh, but it was Barisan Nasional that used Thaipusam, a religious festival for political gain!
”Indians are not stupid to be easily swayed by gimmicks and political dramas”
Leaves me to one conclusion that BN is supposedly a madiah for thinking that the indians are supposedly dumb, give them a holiday, and to fish votes for BN.. Major DUUUHHHHH
AIYOO tiga kali ganda! ! ! !

A frustrated government scholar. Read the article om Lim Kit Siang’s blog. Two things ran thru my mind – heck you don’t bite the hands that feed you la! Then again, I agree what the student said:
” Shamefully, I am heavily guarded by higher institution acts and constantly being threatened to keep quiet on political issues in campus or online by pointing a knife on our scholarships. For your information, most of us, the scholars, come from middle and lower class families, and we can never afford to lose our scholarships. Most of us thus, choose to comply or remain silent. . . pure tragic. I feel angry at myself for being a coward. Yet, i am studying in an environment full of hypocrisy and authoritative fear. ”
Authoritative fear. How are the Malaysian creme de la creme students expect to excel when fear is what drives them? That they are not allowed to have thoughts, to think for themselves but to think like what they are told to do?
AIYOO!!!!!!!

…its very own Michael Moore. Imagine someone putting out the real facts about Barisan National. Sigh, the imagination vanished in a split second when I thudded back on earth – knowing that the movie would be banned from Malaysia. But that would never stop Malaysians from getting their hands on a copy. Pirated copy? Lagi bagus!
But for now, I think Raja Petra Kamaruddin and the bloggers in Malaysia are doing a pretty good job. Hats off to you all!

What is happening to Malaysia? Whatever happened to the muhibbah-ness and caring society of Malaysia? When and why did Malaysians become a tidak-apa citizens? We used to say that Singaporeans were kiasu but heck, Malaysians are worse than kiasus anytime!
Everytime I come back to Malaysia, full of hope. Back to my tanah airku. But after 2 hours, I feel like taking the next flight out of KL!
Mark my words. There will be another May13th incident. I wish that it won’t happen but at the rate things are going on back home, I really doubt it.
The BERSIH rally that was held on November 10th 2007 should have been a massive wake-up call for the government. A few smart-alec politicians said that rallies are not a Malaysian culture. One of them really put Malaysia to shame. Watch and you’ll know what I mean.
The People are not happy..
By the way, what is Malaysian culture?
